TASTING NOTES

Shiraz has been excelling in Young for years. Grove Estate has joined leading maker Clonakilla in establishing the credentials of the red volcanic loams of the Hilltops district as top Shiraz country.

This 2006 Reserve Shiraz, with a dash of co-fermented Viognier, follows on from the multi-trophy winning Grove Estate Shiraz wines of the past three years. It opens with an opulent aroma of ripe fruit: plums, black cherries and classic Shiraz spice. The palate is all class: fresh, mouth filling flavours, silky tannins building to a prolonged, velvety finish.
